Translating your site

See what still needs translating, translate with AI, and URLs per language.

Your site has a main language, usually Dutch, and one or more other languages. Each language has its own pages and its own URLs, such as yourcompany.be/fr/a-propos.

What still needs translating

In the editor, choose a language at the top. Kintsu shows which texts are missing or outdated: if you change the Dutch text, you'll see that the translation is out of date.

Translating

  • Yourself: choose the language and type the translation on the page, just as you would in Dutch.

  • With AI: click Translate … texts with AI. The button shows how many texts still need translating. The translation arrives as a draft; review it and publish.

Also translate the title and description for Google, the alt texts of your photos and the URL of each page, so your site is easy to find in every language.

Adding a language

In the free version, your site has two languages in total. With Kintsu and Kintsu Studio, it has three. More languages are available as an add-on, per language: see pricing.
