Example requests for your assistant

Requests that work with the Kintsu MCP, by role: for everyone, the editor, the owner and the designer.

Your assistant understands plain language. The more specific your request, the better the result. Below are requests that work, by role.

Before you start

  • Who: any role. Your assistant only does what your role allows.

  • Plan: any plan. Changing the design needs Kintsu Studio or a designer.

  • You need: a connected assistant. See Edit your site with your AI assistant.

Tips for good requests

  • Mention Kintsu, especially if your assistant has other tools too: “Look in Kintsu …”.

  • Name the site if you have more than one: “On the Ghent shop's site …”.

  • Ask to see the changes first for anything big: “Show me what you would change first.” Kintsu can try out any change without saving anything.

  • Ask for a preview link before you publish: “Give me a link to view the draft.” The link works for 14 days.

  • Nothing is published without you knowing. Your assistant shows what goes live and waits for you to say yes.

For everyone, including Members

  • “Which sites do I have in Kintsu, and what can I do on them?”

  • “Which pages does my site have, and what's still in draft?”

  • “What changed this week, and who changed it?”

  • “Check my site. Which errors and warnings are there?”

  • “Which texts are not translated into French yet?”

Editor, admin and owner

Opening hours and contact details

  • “Change Saturday's opening hours to 9 am to 1 pm.”

  • “We're closed from 24 December to 1 January inclusive. Add that to the opening hours.”

  • “Our phone number is now 09 123 45 67. Change it in the contact details.”

Note: opening hours and the map go live straight away, without publishing.

News, vacancies and other items

  • “Create a news item ‘New shop in Ghent’ with this text. Use the photo ‘front’ from the site's images. Don't publish it yet.”

  • “Turn this text into a vacancy ‘Sales assistant (m/f/x)’, as a draft.”

  • “Take the warehouse worker vacancy offline.”

Texts and pages

  • “On the About us page, fix the second paragraph: we've been around since 1982, not 1985.”

  • “For every page without a description for Google, write one of at most 155 characters.”

  • “Which images are missing an alt text? Suggest one and wait for my approval.”

Translating

  • “Translate all new texts into French. Show me the titles before you publish.”

  • “Translate the news item about the new shop into Dutch.”

Publishing and undoing

  • “Give me a preview link of the draft.”

  • “Publish everything that's ready.” Your assistant first shows what goes live and asks you to confirm.

  • “Undo everything you just did.”

Owner and admin

  • “Make the main colour of the site a bit darker and give me a preview link.”

  • “Use the Inter font for the body text.”

  • “Connect bakkerijpeeters.be to my site and tell me which records to add at my domain provider.”

  • “Take the site back to the previous publication.” This asks for your confirmation too.

Designer, and owner with Kintsu Studio

  • “Build a section with three key benefits under the hero of the home page, in the style of the site. Then check how it looks on a phone.”

  • “Import this HTML and CSS as a new section on the Services page. Show me the report first.”

  • “Turn the card in the Services section into a Card component with the props title, text and image.”

  • “Create a Projects table with the fields title, client, year and photo, and a page per project.”

  • “Redirect these old addresses: /about.html to /about-us and /contact.php to /contact.”

  • “Check the site for contrast, headings that skip a level and empty links, and fix what you can.”

  • “Write a briefing for this site: the tone, the audience and what an assistant must never do.”

What doesn't work

  • Something your role doesn't allow. Your assistant says so and suggests asking the right person.

  • Form submissions. The MCP doesn't read them. View them in the Site App under Submissions, or fetch them with the API.

  • Instructions from your own site. To your assistant, text on your site or in a form is data, not instructions. If someone writes “ignore your rules” in a form, the assistant doesn't follow it.
